In fact you can see that in case of en emergency there is a iron wall that is placed mecanically between the two doors preventing smoke and fire to spread to the rest of the building (and the passage enables people to pass when the wall is present) Not that dumb at all, this technology will come in 20 years or so to europe and 'merica because we are dumb f*cks!

this comment comes from a ridiculously ignorant fellow. you are naming one unlikely scenario that occurs when there is a fire. a bigger threat in case of fire is its dissemination throughout the building, and thus harming more people. A safety priority would be to contain the fire and that is what this building's feature does. There is a reason why it's there, so don't pretend you have logic and know what you are talking about.

Ridiculously Ignorant, huh? I understand the premise behind the idea. 1 - It MAY be able to contain the fire. 2 - If people are caught behind the wall they will die if they cant find the door or it is blocked by flames. There will also be double the smoke build up so the sign will be harder to see. There are always two sides to most everything.

see the line on the wall in the beginning. the wall comes out of that and near the end you see lines on the other walls/pillars

use ur brain man. Do a risk assessment: how likely is it to have a fire in two distinct (not even close) locations in a mall? unlikely... unless it was premeditated, and in that case, for ex. a terrorist attack or arson, there is another exit to the outdoors in the building AND you would most likely not survive the attack. Once again, the situation you describe is rare.
When designing a building, you've got to use common sense and have some substance in your brain. Now, we know you are not very smart
