Just because its his job it doesn't make a difference. If someone is displaying aggresive behaviour towards you, and you feel threatened, make sure you put them on the floor and they stay there. One punch looked enough but I dont blame him for the others. If you start a confrontation with someone, expect to get hit. Especially if its their job to defuse aggressors. Idiot.

It really doesn't matter what the punk was saying. The officer should have rationally detatched himself from any verbal attacks, as any good officer will. I've worked security for nearly two decades in many industries including healthcare, public schools, adult entertainment, and private engagements. I teach nonviolent verbal and physical intervention. Every situation is different, but 99% of all incidents can be dealt with nonviolently. And no...I don't want to look like a badass...I am one. ;)

So what you're saying is that you're a dicked up security guard who can't stay employed at any one place over the long term. Nice.

Absolutely pitiful. The "guard" actually instigated the altercation. One punch was enough, but he kept hammering on. Totally uncalled for. This is what happens when you have poor training mixed with poor decision making.

Your dept? The dept of sissies?
