I agree. I don't know if that was a bystander or a passenger that grabbed the kid, but at least he/she got it out of harm's way.

While I could agree with your thought on not helping the kid, it is the job of the police to catch these people, it's called enforcing the law. They could not have known that there was a kid in there, and even if they did they could not just let them go "cause they had a kid with them"

Yeah, so if someone was breaking the speed limit with an innocent person in the vehicle, the cops should just let them getaway and end up in a possibly much worse scenario. lol stupid f*cking kids, stick with flipping burgers

Maybe ya know police have to ASSUME that the assailant is armed, and maybe they didn't know there was a child until they saw it ON THE GROUND! What would you do if you saw a kid running by someone who possibly has a gun? Run at them, or shout that there is a child and to stop?

Ladies and gentlemen, this is a fine display of the intelligence that the average American possess. Instead of addressing the problem that plagues the American police force, he/she resorts to the unoriginal "f*ck the brits" response. How do you even know whoever said that is British you unintelligent f*ck?

If you don't like it, how about you get off a website that is headquartered in America?

Completly agree.
What you also have to think about is that the police do what they do to protect and serve the citizens of the US.
If they would think every time they tried to pull over a guy, like "sh*t he's trying to get away, well we should let him go so we don't harm anyone" The US would be a far more dangerous country than it is today.

Kid not fine: Now comes child therapy, in and out of foster care, drug addictions, alcohol abuse, a couple bad hair cuts with hardware on his face, a lack of job prospects and drops out of school.

Great job mom! You just messed up my life by running from the cops!

No I saw this on the news-those lovely parents just robbed a store and shot the clerk while the kid was in the back seat. Cops had no idea what they were up against or that they had brought their kid with them!

Nice Maxwell, lets blame the Cops for the parents decision to run. Intelligent thinking on your part.

people, chill out... if youre from britain than you cant really make generalizations about police in another country after watching a video clip(or maybe even several different video clips)... there are thousands of officers, of course youre going to have some idiots making bad decisions here and there but the majority of them acting for the greater good. Undoubtedly the system isnt perfect but whatever.. its pointless to start an argument of something that affects you so little
