Kamakazi is a term used for the Japanese in the plane who were ruthless. They didn't care whether they lived or not. Kinda like the first suicide bombers.

It's used here cuz you throw explosive...aliens, who are willing to kill themselves for something else. It actually does not promote terrorism.

They were pilots, they knew how to land it and they did. Just right down the American's throats instead of safely on ground to get shot and killed by an American soldier.

Not true, Kamikaze pilots did care whether they lived or died, they just believed that to give their lives for their emperor and country was the highest honour. Japanese culture is based on honour and service.
