Most car windows have two layers and plastic or something like it in between them. This is so that glass doesn't shatter everywhere when you get into an accident.. I'm assuming something to do with that is why the cars glass didn't break..

Only the front window has a layer of poly in between the 2 layers of glass. The other windows are tempered, much stronger than the houses plate glass.

That's a silly question obviously I can, car windows are in cars and house windows are in houses.

Car windows are made durable and are not one pane of glass but actually two. In between the two there is a plastic like rubber substance.
