don't feel to bad, that wheat was already harvested and it is to late in the season for milo or winter wheat so the farmer loses nothing more than a few hours

This sh*t happens quite often in West Texas. I used to use a motor grader to cut these paths to move dry vegitation to stop the fire. Kudos to the farmers.
