MLB Official Rulebook Section 5.02
"...home run or other fair ball hit out of the playing field)." If you had ever watched a baseball game, you would understand that a ball is not ruled foul, or out of play, until the ball lands. This player caught the ball before it hit the ground outside of the fencing, therfore it is considered still in play.

are you sure he didn't catch the ball before he went past the fence?? kinda hard to tell from that angle!

it doesnt matter, if its caught while still in play(meaning before it hit the ground) its an out, just like foul balls

far as I'm concerned, that was a home run.

The ball took him over the fence, that's a home run.
