Clearly this is a pedestrian AND cyclist path. That being said, the cyclist should have slowed down as he approached the people. He should have also stayed to the right side of the path. But the pedestrian didn't seem to really be in a hurry to move, but he should have walked onto the grass instead of cutting across the path. Cyclist was going too fast, so it's his fault.

It's neither ones fault, the runner looked back and tried to move out of the bikers way. The only problem is that they moved out of each others way at the same time which made them both move in the same place which made the both collide with one another thus making this video and this comment.

Because of the way a bike path/trail is shared, what the runner did is the equivalent of making a left from the right lane. Gotta watch for overtaking traffic, buddy!
