"The North Carolina officer who recently brake checked a South Carolina driver into a rear-end collision has resigned, and claims he was baited into the crash.

The video shows Deputy Craig Culpepper of North Carolina's Onslow County Sheriff's department brake-checking South Carolina driver Chad Walton into a rear-end accident.

Culpepper told local news station WWAY3 that he was baited by Walton, who rode up behind him and flashed his lights at him before the beginning of the now-viral video.

WWAY3 reports that South Carolina police are familiar with Walton, who has a reputation for baiting cops into bad situations on video."

So what you're saying is its illegal to pass an officer on the highway? And should you do so you deserve being framed for an accident that you didnt cause? Sir, I do believe I call bullsh*t, on that.

Not sure of exact driving laws in america. but in UK undertaking is against highway code. Might be wrong but didnt the driver do that to not only the police car but another car. The switched sides may have confused me

No it isn't against the law to pass on the right in the U.S. and in Washington state the drivers drive so slow in the left lane, the passing lane, that it's almost the only way to get where you're going.

more like couldn't because of jurisdiction. It's a North Carolina cop in South Carolina. technically the police officer is just a civilian in this situation. A really sh*tty civilian.
